Change What’s Really Blocking You
When you think about what’s blocking you from achieving your goals, you may first consider all of the external forces in your life.
Finances, relationships, the city you live in, or the education you have. Those obstacles may, and probably do, play a role in what’s blocking you. The problem that arises when we focus on external blocks first, and only external blocks, is that we tend to get overwhelmed. This is because external challenges require a different type of work to change, or are impossible to change at all. Either you’re wasting your time trying to change someone’s opinion of you or waiting for their validation — this is endless and rewardless work — or you’re looking ahead at a massive list of steps that you’ll need to take to go back to school, move cities, or pay back the debt that you’re in.
Instead of starting with the external, I am challenging you to do something else.
Start with the INTERNAL. Internal blocks are the things that are allowing you to get in your own way.
